• Design and develop voice and data network plans for network upgrades and expansion in accordance with company objectives.
• Design and implement voice and data systems, network configurations and network architecture, including hardware and software technology, site locations, business continuity, disaster recovery, and integration of technologies.
• Review analyses and technical feasibility to develop voice and data network deployment strategies.
• Assess and review voice and data network growth forecasts and to ensure that business needs are translated into network capacity requirements.
• Respond to request for proposals, develops cost estimates, project budgets and resource requirements to meet project needs.
• Interface with cross-functional teams throughout the company and assess voice and data network impacts resulting from changing business needs.
• Support efforts to resolve the most complex voice and data network problems and incidents through root cause analysis and study of potential network deficits.
• Identify and test current conditions and provide recommendations to ensure that the voice and data network infrastructure is positioned to meet business requirements.

• A minimum of three years voice and data networking or general telecommunications experience.
• Proficient technical skills including programming, installation, configuration, and data base management.
• Analysis and design skills involving the ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions.
• Knowledge of current technologies, tools, applications, and vendors.

• Understanding of Company’s existing IT environment and of applicable Company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Professional certifications - (e.g. CCNA, CCIE, CCDP)

• Bachelor’s Degree with an IT, voice and data networking or telecommunications focus; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
